About Blazeboard

Blazeboard is a premium decking solution which can be used in the same way that hardwood decking would be used, spanning between structural members to provide an attractive and hard wearing finish.

As a team comprising primarily Engineers, with experience in construction materials including flooring, balconies, construction management, material science and recycling we applied our expertise to re-engineer decking materials to optimise performance for the modern world.  Working from first principles to meet the demands of high-rise living, key parameters were essential from the outset:

  • Durability
  • Longevity

By building on established processes, and firstly testing at lab-scale it was possible to optimise performance against these parameters.   Accelerated weathering testing has subjected the material to the harshest climates.

Being Engineers, we are too technical and too boring to be sales people.  We have partnered with sales experts who manage the sales process and bring back queries for us to solve.  The key to Blazeboard is that it is not just a material but a solution, in many cases the design solution is not obvious right away, but by coupling the unique properties of the material with clever design solutions, incorporating substructure solutions where necessary we can create cost effective and attractive solutions for your project.
